Team Building

Man with gun

Our teambuilding events can be during the day-time or evening, with the event and duration timetabled around your requirements. Murder One will provide your clients with a unique WhoDunnit Murder Mystery, which will offer unparalleled benefits as a fun event, scripted and devised to promote communication, co-operation, initiative, understanding and obviously teamwork. The clients will be invited to form detection teams and participate in a murder investigation. This will provoke the application of analytical reasoning and deductive abilities as teams amass and discuss lines of enquiries to advance their own investigations.

Your WhoDunnit would be based around a fictitious event that causes the 'suspects' and guests to be at your chosen venue. As the event unfolds, arguments and threats will be observed, which will be the prelude to murder. Participants are encouraged to follow, eavesdrop and question the characters, and an intriguing array of visual clues will be displayed in an incident room. These are continually updated as more evidence is unearthed as your enquiry progresses.

Each team evaluates the evidence presented at their own pace. Throughout the event individuals are encouraged to use their communication skills to the full in discussions with other 'jury members', and their interrogation of the suspects. At the conclusion of the event the investigating officer will ask groups to reform, reach a majority verdict, elect a spokesperson and sum up their case, before all is revealed...

Your Murder Mystery will be specifically tailored to meet all your requirements. Participants will be called upon to utilise both independent initiative and team-working skills. Individuals will also gain confidence in their communication skills and ultimately function more effectively within their organisations.

Training

In addition to staging the perfect murder our professional actors may also be used in recruitment, training and development simulations. In close consultation with yourselves we will develop role-play scenarios in areas such as handling conflict; dealing with aggression; practise in effective communication and interpersonal skills; discipline and performance review simulations.

All are devised individually, and are specific to your organisation. Our actors have also worked with Hospital and Police Services nationwide on such role-play situations for participants to gain, explore and develop skills needed to become effective and successful within the workplace.
